July News!
Hello Beeman families,
I hope you are all well and having an enjoyable end of July. I wanted to take a moment and check in with all of you and see how you are doing and also to follow up with the email that Superintendent Reen sent out earlier this week to all MAUSD families. As stated in that communication, the plan is for the district to open in a hybrid model that will allow both in person and remote learning. Superintendent Reen also mentioned a way to go 100% remote if desired with more information to follow. With the AB group model being the structure to start the school year I'm sure there are many questions around how this will best work and who will be placed where among other questions. Please know that as a School district we will be using the information from the survey that was sent out yesterday to help with this, if you haven't yet please fill this survey out. We will be looking to make sure families will be grouped together at the elementary level and also we are looking to coordinate at the middle and high school. If you have any particular questions or wonderings please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Superintendent Reen will be sending out a communication report at the end of each week and if anybody has questions or further explanation please reach out to me by email, text or call (349-2661). As these details become developed and finalized I will look to share them. I'm currently working on the day to day logistics, procedures and protocols that will be implemented at Beeman to make sure we are following all the safety guidelines and have them in place for the start of the school year that is quickly approaching. These details will be shared by me as they become finalized. I look forward to seeing all our Beeman Wildcats again soon. Have a great rest of your summer!
Kindly,
Travis Park
